About me: Definitely over 18. Former teacher and theologian, now signed up with a publisher and trying to write something serious. I have - amongst other things - taught medieval combat and riding techniques, before finally caving in to the academic world once more: now I study Japanese literature, culture and language at the university.
I am here mostly for Harry Potter fandom, art, fic and meta. Besides Harry Potter, I love Youka Nitta's Haru o Daiteita/Embracing Love and her other works and I am currently more active in that fandom. However, I am usually posting on InsaneJournal and keep my LJ to keep up with friends and a few comms.
But it is not all about fandom. I have had horses (Icelandics and Welsh Cobs) since I was eleven. I have been a cyclist for many years, competing in cross country and messenger races. I can possibly drive a mountain bike places where people can't even walk (that is if I hadn't ruined my back on one. *kicks bike*). I adore sighthounds - salukis - and would love to have one (or rather two) again.

HP: Lucius Malfoy/Severus Snape. Nothing above, nothing beside, although Remus/Severus come as a close second.
Youka Nitta's Universes: Mochimune! Mochimune/Miyasaka. Shu/Shouji, Masahiko/Iwaki (WMLM), Iwaki/Katou.
About comments: I am sometimes far too busy (or ill) to manage commenting. If you're on my flist, I read your journal, even if I do not comment.
